I am new to a church, I like what I feel there, but a sister wants me to start being like them, LONG SKIRTS , no earings long hair worn in a bun, and long sleeve shirt with front coverd

Because they feel it is a sin to cut your hair, wear makeup, or show any of your skin. I know this because I was raised up in a church that was like that. When I was in the tenth grade I cut all my hair off and starting wearing short dresses, you wuld have thought I was going to hell right then. I might yet, but it won't be because I have cut my hair or wear shorts and makeup.
