Hairstyles for my long hair. Help! I am running out of things to do with it.?

I have long brown hair that comes down two or three inches below my arm pits. I usually either wear my hair up in a pony tail, wavy with gel, or straight down. Give me some really unique ideas please. I want to be different.

There are more things that you can do with long hair.

Try faux dread locks like angelina jolie from "gone in 60 seconds". Jennifer Aniston did that as well on the red carpet.

When I'm bored with my long hair, I roll it up and clip it to make it look like a "fake bob".

Headbands are great, espescially if you tease the back just a little, and take a modern approach to the retro style.

Use a triple barrel iron, and create sexy beach waves

Go big...and let it dry wavy without gel, and then curl random peices with a tiny curling iron.

Use rollers before you go to bed, this will give you beautiful curls that you can play around with in the morning.

I use lots of clips in my hair for different styles, also try to copyt some of the styles your fav tv show characters wear, i have one i love that i got from charmed.

my hair is a little longer than yours but mine is really thick i braid it upside down or inside out for something different...i put it in a pony tail and twist into a lose bun and pin around it....put it in a pony tail twist it and make a figure 8 pin around the outside and put a nice pin in the middle

How 'bout an atherial look.... Part hair down the middle, and then take a small section from each side in the front. Make 2 small braids---one on each side and pull the braids back to the middle of the back of your head. Grab a very small section of hair in the back of your head and use that piece as the MIDDLE of a new braid that you will make using the other 2 braids as the other 2 strands. This is hard to explain without a picture---but it really is quite simple! So, you now use the 2 braids and the middle strand/section to braid one long braid that will fall down the back of your head. Secure with a small elastic at the bottom. It'll look like you have one continuous braid going around your head. Very boho--earthy and cute!

Or, with your hair wet (towel dried) gather your hair into a high pony tail on the top of your head and secure with an elastic. Pull a smal section of hair out of the bottom of the pony and wrap it around the elastic. Tuck it back into the bottom of the elastic---it's simple, classy and cute.

Lastly--how about china buns? (Depending on your age---if you're a teen these are cute.)
