now that i have cut my hair.....they are super friendly....are girls intimidated by girls with long hair?

I get a similar response to my hair (mid-thigh length), but only from girls who are trying to grow their own hair. Girls who like wearing their hair short don't seem to mind long hair on other girls, but among those for whom every inch counts . . . serious b*itchiness towards anybody with hair longer than their own.

Unfortunately some girls base their entire self worth on their appearance to the point where if they see a female they perceive to be more attractive than them (whether that be thinner, prettier, longer hair, etc) they cannot handle it because she is a threat to the one thing they value most.....their looks. So they react in a defensive manner to try and remove the perceived threat.

Girls are mean to girls they feel threatened by. It should be a compliment that they rolled their eyes at you, that means they were jealous!

I say keep your hair long and enjoy it. Forget all the rolling eyes their just jealous that you're hot and their not lol!
