I already have a list of websites (below) and tips, but I would like some more.
I would like loads of suggestions please, including other websites.
(By the way I can have longer hair because someone in my family used to have long hair).

*satin pillow case or scarf at night on your hair
*no heat on your hair
*you can also wear braid extensions if they are not too tight.
*I went on a diet and my hair grew faster because I was eating healthier and taking vitamins. I was also drinking more water. My diet consist of egg white omelets with veggies cooked in flax seed oil. Homemade oriental stir fry veggie meals with chicken or egg whites. No bread but I did have brown rice, white rice occasionally or asian noodles. I did not drink juice but had plain yogurt and some fruits. I had oatmeal and ate berries. I ate as many natural foods as possible eliminated junk foods.
I wore braids during this time. During this time my hair grew faster and I lost about 15 lbs ( by exercising 20 mins in morning, 20 mins at lunch, and 20 mins in evening). And I eliminated petroleum based hair oils, i used mineral oil and washed and conditioned my hair a few times a week. Somedays I left some of the conditioner in my hair.

My friend told me to flat iron my hair to make it grow faster, and of course I said she was an idiot. I mean thats supposed to burn your hair not make it grow. But I tried it w/ some heat protectants and my hair has grown two inches!!!!!!!! It really works. ( I'm bi-racial but with out attention my hair is nappy so I guess i have black folk hair)

Hear are some helpful tips on caring for your hair: If you want your hair to grow try not to use so much heat. When sleeping, wear a silk scarf on you hair because the cotton pillow can cause it to break. Don't use hair grease because it just sits on your hair, and it is made from pertroleum. Wash your hair regularly, you can never get to much water and moisture. And check out these websites, I got most of my facts from them. I just cut my hair about a month ago, I have to say, it was the best decision I have ever made. Good Luck!!

Im quarter indian so But my hair is still nappy but very fine. Trim your ends strictley once a month. Believe it or not our hair grows at the same rate as everyone elses. Ours is just finer and more delicate than everyone elses So it breaks off more. When you wash it whilst its wet try putting olive oil or cooking oil in. Then detangle your hair whilst its wet by combing from the ends up. If your hair is natral you may want to try using gel curl activators to moisturise and scunch your hair curly. Mine is half way down my back in lenght and completely natural. try paoducts on natural frizz .com or just type into your serch engine, mixed chicks. Our hair needs moisture so fighting against it only damages our hair.
