How can I make long thick hair manageable on a daily basis? The weight hurts when I don't wear

I've already thinned it out with thinning shears...is there anything else I can do?



It is like an inch below the bottom of my breast. I can't wear it in a ponytail for too long before my scalp just gets irritated and tired.



Style ideas? Hair product ideas?



My boyfriend likes it long (sorry feminists, but I do like to please him) and it looks good, but I am also more about function than looks.



And is it true longer hair is perceived as less serious in the workforce??

I would thin it even more. You'll want to find someone who isn't afraid to go after it w/ their thinning shears.



One thing you may want to look into is layers. Start w/ long layers.. .like your longest layer beggining at your chin. If that doesn't do the trick, then shorten the layers. With layers, you'll still have the length.



I'll be honest.. I've got the same thing going on and the only way that my 'Mufasa Mane' has been manageable and consistently attractive is through excessive thinning and layers. It'll allow your hair to dry faster, too. I don't think it's anti-feminism... I do it for my husband... but also for me... I like feeling feminine. I've tried short and I felt severe and boy-ish.

May not be true. Try plaiting it instead. Well er...I think it's kind of stylish.

I understand ur problem i would cut it a little bit or try and straighten it i have horrible hair very thick. Just because ur hair would be short doesnt mean ur ugly i cut my hair up to my chin but i think u should cut it at least to ur shoulders u would feel much better espicially 4 the summer.
