Don't ever highlight your hair by yourself at home...
We already have lots of question asking what should they do cause their highlight turned out horrible when they tried doing it themselves...
If you don't have the money to go to a professional hairstylist, ask your friend to help you with 1 tone color and not highlights... Leave those to professionals when you've save up enough money...
