I am a 26 year old guy with shoulder length hair (slightly wavy). I get mixed opinion on my hair. Some people say it looks great, others say I should get it cut. Was wondering whats the majority opinion of people in general.

I prefer short hair, BUT it also depends on your face shape and how you keep it. If it is cleanly cut, it can work on people.

It's a personal thing and sometimes it totally depends on the guy as well. At the end of the day, all that matters is what *you* think about it. I know it's not much of an answer, but you'll always be getting mixed opinions to a question like that :)

hmm well by 26 many guys have outgrown their longer hair stage, but many haven't....

personally, i'm not really keen of medium to long hair...i'm a bigger fan of the short to medium (super short is fine but that's definitely not the only way to go)

Some men can pull off long hair and look super sexy. I prefer men with a neat, short cut, especially if they're professionals. However, the ladies love Johnny Depp with his long locks.

Honestly, you really have to have the right looks to pull off any style hair that that is considered medium or long. You can play it safe with short hair because that's the norm. I personally wouldn't date a guy with hair past his shoulders, and even so, he needs to have the looks to pull off hair that is neck length. If you want to play it safe, keep it short.

Well in my opinion it sort of depends on what the guy looks like and if the long hair goes with what he looks like. Personaly, I like guys with shoulder length hair and guys with hair that goes past there ears, but I don't like really short hair unless it has some kind of cool style added to it.

Depends on the guy, and what he does for a living. Are you a yoga instructor, with hot lean muscles, six pack abs, and great cheekbones? Long-hair = HOT HOT HOT. Ditto for musicians, owners of software companies, actors, graphic artists, electricians, and restauranteurs. Not so much for attorneys, police officers, federal judges, your mayor, or a the guy who writes your mortgage. (Also - if you're bald on top and just growing the back and sides, give up the fantasy - shave it off and be a hot bald guy). Whatever you do, just keep it clean and conditioned and trimmed.
