Go with the short hair; maybe even shorter than the picture. Add some cool sunglasses to your 'look'. Having it shorter will make you stand out. Chicks like that.

Keep it short. Some might disagree, but men shouldn't have long hair. I personally find it nasty. Very few men can look decent with long hair. I would highly recommend that you keep it short.
