Can I use a texturiser in my long hair ? can I use a colour before its texturized aswll?

If my hair is natural it has a lovley wave when it is soaking wet but when it is dry it is just frizzy and afro. I can use gel activators but they are way too greasy id like to wear my hair loose and flowing. so is it best to curly perm or use a texturiser? Im black Quarter indian. I dont wanna relax my hair though the length of my hair is half way down my back so it is long.

Yes you can use a texturizer on long hair, you may need more than one application however if your hair is past your shoulders. Now color, you can't do right after or before a texturizer, you should wait about two weeks before or after, and do the color then. I suggest after because the texturizer might actually strip the color if you do it before. Good luck.

My hair is the same, looks nice and wavy when it's wet, forms nice ringlets but then is afro when dry. I jus wear it same way! Anyway, yes, you can use a texturizer on your hair. For some reason, it's always marketed as a product for women with very short hair but it's not the case. You can also colour your hair but I think it's best if you wait a few weeks after you have texturized it 'cos you don't want to over-process your hair. I'd also have it done at a proper salon if you can find one who ain't a scissor-wielding hater!
