Trying to grow out long hair by the start of summer of '08. Need help?

Well I should have long hair by that time, but right now it looks rather disgusting with bits and pieces everywhere. The brush doesnt help unless I wash my hair every day which I have no time to do. Wearing a baseballl cap makes me look like a moron since I still have bits sticking out on both sides. What can I do to make it look at least decent?

yeah, the midway point is horrible... either do something with gel, or do like I do in the in between, and just screw your hair, let it get however and not give about what ppl think about it...

I would use some type of hair product. Either mousse or hairspray! Good Luck! =)

well when growin your hair out you will go through an awkward phase so to speak, try using mousse and slicking it back untill it gets longer. Have been through it many times over the years

Using a good conditioner after shampooing will help with breakage and make your hair longer. As for right now, get a non-stiff gel to keep the peices from "sticking out"
