it depends on the persons face some girls look better with long hair some better with short hair. like natalie portman in v for vendetta she was able to pull of the shaved head because she has a more round face and head

Well I love long hair.... but im tall and i think short hair looks better on me... like shoulder length.. a little bit longer then that... and on short people i think long hair looks good... but it gets on my nerves.. i used to have hair past my butt and it annoyed me so much!!!
